As 2025 draws to a close, we at Eve’s Restoration Ministries first and foremost want to thank you for your support this year. Whether it was through:
– a one-time, monthly, or annual gift
– sharing our posts on social media
– encouraging your church or group to book a presentation
– prayer and encouragement
– attending one (or more) of our events
-reading our blog
-staying up-to- date on our progress
-joining a committee or our volunteer list
Our thankfulness goes on and on …
As an organization it has been (and always will be) my goal to have us be as transparent as possible during this process. As a group (the board of directors, then others along the way) we have progressed through 2025 and have been learning many new things on the journey to opening “Eve’s Restoration Home”.
One thing we learned was that in order to secure larger more meaningful grants, we need to launch our program on a smaller scale. The reason for this would be to show “proof of concept” and “prove” to foundations and the like that we can be successful. It would also show in a tangible way what we are trying to accomplish. This baby step will help us to create a strong and stable program that will allow us to serve families in the greatest capacity that we can.
Together we investigated what would be needed to launch a pilot program and a realistic start date. After research, consultation with a professional in the non-profit field, and a few rough drafts, we came up with the pilot program set to launch in June of 2027.
In order to launch in June 2027, we will need $188,256.25. We broke this number down into smaller chunks from Jan. 2025-Jun 2027.
$55,000 in 2025
$88,837.50 in 2026
$44,418.75 from Jan-June 2027.
You see, if we do not hit our financial goal for 2025, it may put our whole pilot program behind schedule. If there is a delay, that is a delay in serving. A delay in care. A delay in helping vulnerable families who need our help. With each delay, that is more time families are separated. More time that children may be in foster care. More time that mothers will be desperately looking for help. There are around 1,200 CHILDREN in foster care in our future service area. The need is great. It is critical to keep our projected open date on track.
I want to end this final blog of the year with this:
A Future Transformed at Eve’s Restoration Ministries: (A potential impact story- outlining our hope and prayer for this future program)
“When Emily, a 29-year-old mother, arrived at Eve’s Restoration Ministries, she was carrying the deep ache of separation from her two young children—both of whom had recently entered foster care. Years of instability, trauma, and unhealthy relationships had brought her to a breaking point. What she needed most was not just temporary help—but lasting hope.
At Eve’s Restoration Ministries, Emily found that hope.
Rooted in the truth of Romans 5:8, Emily was reminded daily that Christ’s love is not conditional—He loved her even at her lowest. Through morning devotions, Bible study, and weekly spiritual care led by LCMS pastors, Emily began to rediscover her worth in God’s eyes. The Divine Service on Sundays became a steady reminder that she was not forgotten—she was being restored. In the safety of the residential setting, Emily began to heal—mind, body, and soul. As part of the “Three Components of Change,” she experienced holistic support –
For the SOUL: Through Spiritual guidance, confession and absolution, and Christ-centered fellowship that reignited her faith.
For the BODY: through A structured daily routine including nutrition, exercise, and vocational training that helped her rebuild confidence in her role as both a woman and a mother.
For the MIND: Through weekly counseling and parenting classes, Emily developed the skills and emotional resilience she needed to work toward reunifying with her children.
She also participated in life skills training, service projects, and learned to see her identity through the lens of vocation—called by God to love and serve her family. By the time Emily completed the program, she had met her court-ordered requirements, built a stable foundation, and was on track for reunification. But more than that, she had encountered the life-transforming love of Christ and had become part of a supportive community committed to walking with her beyond graduation.”
Eve’s Restoration Ministries exists for mothers like Emily—women who long to be reunited with their children and need a Christ-centered path forward. With the support of passionate individuals like yourselves, together we can empower women to rebuild not just their lives—but their families.
$10,000. Ten thousand dollars is what we need before 2026, in order to stay on track. $10,000 can bring this impact story to life.
